The 28th (Maori) Battalion was a key representative of the cultural diversity celebrated in New Zealand today. They were involved in significant attacks which demonstrated the perseverance and ingenuity of New Zealanders on a global scale, with partciluar emphasis on the Maori identity in our nation.
